Dispatchers work in a stressful environment, and the effects are felt both at work and at home. Insomnia, anxiety, depression, sick time usage, attrition, and mistakes on the radio board are all potential results. According to NENA's 2013 Standard on 911 Acute/Traumatic and Chronic Stress Management, every PSAP shall adopt a comprehensive stress management program to combat these effects to insure a healthy work experience.

Our classes address the both the individual and organizational aspects of stress at the dispatch center.
